…It just popped into my head, I have an idea. (mums who have CBeebies on in the house will probably get that reference, and I. Am. Sorry.)
Although I have had a few posts planned for the start of this year, I’m slowly running out of ideas of what to write about and what content to produce. I seem to have writers block.
I love writing. Like reading it’s very much a passion of mine. I love that you can immerse yourself in a completely different world.
As I write this, it’s 5:30am on Saturday. And (cue the singing ladies and gents) a million dreams are keeping me awake. I can’t sleep because I seem to have so many ideas rushing through this little head of mine – and I’d like to share a few with you (and if you could provide some feedback on my ideas that would be amazeballs).
Ok, so, my first thought came from the fact that I never watch the news. Never. It’s too depressing. I upset very easily and it seems only news that is sad or angering will be reported on. So what if I were to find the good in the world that is worth reporting on? The things that you wouldn’t see on the news or in newspapers but also deserve to be there? A little series, maybe once a week, to tell you all about the good that’s happening around us? What do you think?
Another thought was about the latest collection from Disney. Last year I collected the Mickey Memories mugs, this year I’m collecting notebooks from the Disney Wisdom collection. And I’d quite like to do a little series on that (although I realise it’s probably a tad late for a post on the first notebook).
And the last thought for the morning is short stories. I’m not sure how frequently I would post these as they could take some time to write and perfect but, I want to write stories. Not necessarily in one genre. They could be for children, they could be murder mysteries, romance, sci-fi… you get the idea.
What do you think? Any of those ideas I should just skip and move on to the next one?
